We Are Home 🇺🇸!
After a LONG day of travel, we arrived in Atlanta around 2:30! We have truly experienced the trip of a lifetime and have grown in so many ways! We’ve traveled to four countries and walked over 100 miles in three weeks. Our sincerest gratitude goes to Bright School, Mr. OJ Morgan, and the Guerry Family for this amazing opportunity! We will be forever grateful ❤️!
Day 21 - Our Final Day Abroad!
Our last day was spent touring the Edinburgh Castle and Mary King’s Close. The Scottish are extremely proud of their heritage and traditions that date back hundreds of years! As we walked the Royal Mile, we saw kilt attire and heard several bagpipers.
Natalie and I loved spending the last ten days of our trip with the Bright School students. What an special group of children...Leya, Max, Kai, Luci, Hannah, Kaiulani, Jim, Ben, Carlos, and Adela. Thank you for all of the laughs and great times we had together. When we think of the UK, we will think of all of you! Special thanks to Nicole Smith and Pam Williams for all of their time and energy in planning this trip for our students!

Day 20 - Touring Edinburgh
It was a full day with a city bus tour, tour of the Royal Yacht Britannia, and a tour of Holyrood Palace. We’ve learned so much through the many tours on this trip. Our suggestion for anyone traveling to a touristy city is to do the hop on-hop off bus. It shows you the main historic sites, provides historical background, and allows you to get off/on at any stops you want to see more or less of something! So far, Natalie and I have walked just over 97 miles...we should break 100 on our last day, which is tomorrow! We will be sad for this journey to come to an end, but will be glad to be home after 22 days of traveling through four amazing countries!

Day 19 - Edinburgh, Scotland 🏴
We traveled by train from York to Edinburgh this morning—beautiful views of farmland and the east coast. We are scheduled for a ghost tour this evening. It’s hard to believe we only have two days left!
